QuikPros privacy notice
This notice explains how QuikPros handles information when professionals create profiles and claim ZIP positions, consumers request a local pro, visitors browse market pages, or someone contacts the company.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use QuikPros, we may collect:
- Account information, such as name, work email, phone number, password credentials, account role, and login records.
- Professional profile information, such as business details, credential or license number and state, service ZIPs, specialties, languages, biography, website, headshot, availability, and supporting verification evidence.
- Transaction information, such as selected ZIP positions, subscription state, checkout identifiers, invoices, and billing events. Payment-card details are handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by QuikPros.
- Referral and introduction information, such as customer intent, ZIP, timing, service or job type, budget range, preferred language, contact details, and the notes a consumer chooses to submit.
- Support and inquiry information submitted through the contact form.
- Technical and usage information, such as request identifiers, device or browser information, IP-derived security signals, page activity, and analytics events.
- Public and licensed-source information used to verify professionals, describe ZIP markets, and measure public AI-search visibility.
2. How we use information
- Operate accounts, authentication, profiles, ZIP inventory, subscriptions, and billing.
- Verify professional identity, business affiliation, credential and license information, service areas, specialties, and availability.
- Publish approved profile fields on public professional, ZIP, specialty, and verification pages.
- Match consented customer requests to eligible participating professionals or referral partners.
- Measure sampled public AI-search visibility and show the resulting evidence to the applicable participant.
- Provide support, respond to inquiries, prevent abuse, enforce terms, and protect the service.
- Improve site usability, market information, product performance, and service reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and maintain financial, audit, and security records.
3. Public profiles and AI visibility
Information approved for a professional's public profile may be indexed, cached, quoted, summarized, or otherwise processed by search engines, AI systems, archives, and other third parties. QuikPros cannot control how an independent platform ranks, summarizes, or retains public content.
Visibility measurement may submit public, non-confidential search questions about a professional, specialty, business, or ZIP to supported search or AI providers. Do not place confidential client, patient, or customer information, nonpublic transaction data, or sensitive personal information in a public profile or visibility prompt.
4. When information is shared
QuikPros may disclose information:
- To hosting, authentication, database, analytics, email, payment, security, and other service providers that help operate QuikPros.
- To a matched participating professional or verified referral partner after the consumer provides the required consent.
- To a professional's business, administrator, or team when needed to verify or manage the professional relationship.
- When required by law, legal process, a regulator, or to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the service.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Referral contact information is used to respond to the submitted service request and is not intended for unrelated mass marketing.
5. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
QuikPros may use essential cookies or similar storage for sessions, authentication, security, preferences, and saved interface settings. The site also uses privacy-conscious deployment analytics to understand aggregate traffic and performance. Browser controls may limit optional storage, but disabling essential storage can prevent sign-in or account features from working.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain verification and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type. QuikPros uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
- Professionals can review and update profile information through their account.
- Participants can manage active subscriptions through the available billing controls.
- Consumers may decline to submit a referral request or withdraw before information is shared when operationally possible.
- You may request access, correction, deletion, or information about applicable privacy rights through the contact page.
QuikPros may need to verify identity before completing a request and may retain information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or recordkeeping purposes.
8. Children
QuikPros is intended for adults, local professionals, and the customers who hire them. It is not directed to children under 13, and QuikPros does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes and contact
This notice may be updated as the service, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published. Submit privacy questions or rights requests through the QuikPros contact form.
